C-2-5k Week 3

We have made it to week 3!
Last night was the first day of week 3.
Lets just say, we are still alive. It was brutal for me. Not so much while I was running, but walking home afterward was tough. I don't think my legs have throbbed that much EVER!
But can I say... I can't believe I ran for 3 minutes straight!
It was hard, but when Lisa and I finished that first 3 minute run, it did feel awesome, when we went for the second 3 minute run it was tough, and we had to stop with just 20 secounds remaining, which I think is still an accomplishement. Last week we were only running 2 minutes, and then to add on another whole minute is crazy.
It might not be a big deal to some people, but for Lisa and I it is.
I hated running in high school, and I never wanted to do it in gym. I think I skipped gym the days we were supposed to run the mile.
Tomorrow is W3D2, I sure hope we can do it again. I am super sore today. My knees and shins are killing me, but I am not giving up. I am so close to being half way done already!
Jumped on the scale and lost 2 lbs!
Not to bad, was wishing it was a little more, but I will take 2 lbs anyday. My clothes are fitting better and my momma pouch on my belly is getting smaller :-)
( which is a good thing )
