Halloween 2009.
Logyn dressed as a little lion cub, and Landyn dressed as a red power ranger. Logyn didn't really seem to mind his costume. Landyn on the other hand was not too impressed with his. He loved his red mask, but he didn't care for his puffy muscles that were sewn into his costume. We had to bundle the kids up good this year, which was nothing compared to last year when we all wore sweat shirts and we were sweating!
This year Aunt Susan came home from college to join us in our trick or treating adventure. So we had planned on a big family outing for Halloween. I think the kids really enjoyed it.
This year the town of Luck had Trick or Treating at all the businesses during the day, and then afterward there was a kiddie parade on main street. Landyn was so excited to be in the parade with all the other kids.
Logyn was not to thrilled at this point. We were getting dressed to go outside and we weren't going fast enough for him. As most of you know he is an outside baby and enjoys being outside at any time of the day. I am not sure he enjoyed being bundled to the max this time.
Daddy and the boys posing for mom's camera. Say cheese!
As soon as we were ready, Logyn waddled outside and tripped on all the leaves in the yard. As you can tell we have LOTS of them in the front yard. But this was still a cute picture.
After our in town trick or treating we came back to the house to warm up before the parade started. I decided to stay home with Logyn because he was too tired, and needed to take his nap. Izzak, Landyn and Logyn were all playing behind the couch, when we gave Logyn his bottle, after a while we noticed Logyn had gotten a little too quiet when we realized that he had fallen asleep snuggled in all the blankets.
Landyn is all ready to go waiting for the parade to start.
He found a pre-school friend Anders, and his sister Britta. They all walked together holding hands in the parade.
What a great shot of the three of them.
A Barbie, Spiderman, and a Power Ranger, nice combo!
After the parade, Landyn and daddy came home and we ate supper and bundled up again to go trick or treating around town. We added a couple more layers of clothing on the kids and out we went.
Some friends of ours Todd and Ronette met us outside with their 2 kids Oliva, and Zak, and they decided to tag along with us trick or treating.
So the whole gang consisted of Matt, Jen, Landyn, Logyn, Mary, Susan, Keenan, Izzak, Todd, Ronette, Oliva, and Zak.
And the spooky costumes consisted of 2 Lions, Batman, a red power ranger, and a mermaid (I think).
oooooo spooky
Happy Halloween!
