Landyn's 4th Birthday
Landyn's 4th Birthday, I can't believe he is 4. He started preschool this year, and he is a big brother, he has grown up so fast. Latley I look at him and I can see the tiny little baby we brouht home from the hospital 4 YEARS AGO! Boy how the time goes.
This year for Landyn's birthday Matt and I wanted to get him something special. We have never really gone overboard for the kids' birthdays but this year we wanted to get him a power wheel. Of course Matt and I said we both wanted one as kids growing up but we never got one.
We hid the thing in the back office outside just in-case Landyn ventured into the garage one day and would find it.
We figured we better give it to him early because Matt had been working all week and he was scheduled to work during Landyn's birthday party. So we had a little party at home just the 4 of us and we had him open his BIG present.
Its funny because we snuck it in the house while Landyn was going to the bathroom, we thought we would suprise him when he came out to find this huge present in the living room, well... not so much. He didn't even see it, he walked right by it, the little bugger.
But when he did see it he was floored.
He tore into it and screamed "a fourwheeler!!" it was great.
He tore the paper right off and hopped right on the thing. As soon as he sat down he floored it into the kitchen paper and all. (which suprised me because I thought he didn't know how to run the thing yet.)
He was one happy little boy.
Logyn on the otherhand was absolutley frightened by it and screamed his way straight into my arms while his brother drove around the house on it.
So we decided maybe it was best for Landyn and Daddy to go outside and practice in the grass, so they bundled up and out they went. Mommy and Logyn stayed inside and watched out the window.
One lucky little 4 year old.
Landyn was pretty good at driving. He just needed a little help learning how to backup. Daddy had to run after him while he drove to the park!
Sunday morning I woke up and of course it was a cold rainy day. So no birthday party at the park again this year. I think I might give up on that now.
We decorated for the party and soon the guests arived. We had Izzak, Olivia, Zak, Allen, Kyrie, Logyn, and Landyn. I think they all had a great time.
Say cheese birthday boy!
Opening gifts with little ones is always the fun part. You always have the "helpers" that want to see, and try to open the gifts too.
Who wouldn't.

Is it Fall already???

He looks as though he doesn't know what to do.

Good so far...
A little too tight.
They both did pretty good even though there were boats flying by on the lake so some pictures they were both looking around for the cool noise.

Brotherly love
( I did not tell Landyn to put his arm around his brother it was all on his own).
Landyn was just trying a little too hard. But still so cute.
It may be one of my favorite memories of the boys together at this age.
What a cutie!
My little peanut
We had a good day.
The boys were pooped when we were done, and they finally had some good fresh air. I am so glad we got out that day because right now its snowing!
