Behind the Wheel

You think he is ready to drive yet?

Looking Good!
Whoa!
That was a close one!
Why can't we go any faster????

Oh gees, I got so upset,
you made me spill my coffee

Thank God I got a few more years before this really starts...

Baths are so much fun

When you have children there are somethings that you become aware of...
for example...
when your children get quiet, you know they are up to no good
or
when one comes up to you and says "you stay there Mom"
or
while you are lieing in bed and you can hear the crinkle of candy wrappers in the kitchen.
Well....
I had givin Logyn a bath, got him dressed for bed, and sort of FORGOT to drain the tub.
I heard the sound that made me jump to my feet!
SPPPLLLOOOOSH!
And this is what I found...
Suprise!
I am not done with my bath yet Mom!
You mean, I am not suposed to be in the tub with my jammies on?

Uh... why is my diaper so huge?

BLAAAAHHH says the sheep...

A family day at Fawn Doe Rosa.

I have never been there and have been meaning to take the boys there for a while. Matt and I decided to take them there last Sunday being that he was going to be gone for a couple of weeks.

Logyn was excited but a little weary.

But he eventually warmed up to it.
The Raccoon climbing up the cage was a hoot, and very noisy too. And... he's getting the hang of it

Landyn just jumped right in and fed the animals, and held the bunnies.
Hey Logyn look at the sheep!Lets go feed the deer. Look at that one!

The deer were very friendly and walked right up to us.
I just couldn't resist.
Landyn didn't have a problem petting or feeding the animals.
They were all very anxious to get some nummy food.
Logyn thinking about what to do with next.
Why are you following me???Ahh, the Bear enjoying the nice cool pool."Hey man, you want to throw me a cold one?"
Landyn feeding the bunny.
Perfect!
Logyn wasn't to happy to be volunteered for this picture.
The boys thought this picture was pretty funny of Mom.And the highlight of the day, the sheep were baaahing as we fed them, and followed us around the cage.
Logyn thought they were pretty neat and was trying to imitate them.
He thinks the sheep say BLAAAAAH!

BLAAAAH!

Water Boy

He did it!!!

Landyn got into a pool!

First time ever (besides me putting him in one when he was less then a year old).

He has NEVER wanted to go into the water, he takes baths fine, but he has never enjoyed the sprinkler, pools, or beaches.

Well this weekend was a hot one. and I decided to fill up the wading pool.
Landyn asked as soon as it was full if he could go into it.

So I taught him how to get into the water very slowly,
(I didn't want to have a drama fest if he thought it was too cold).

Now, he wouldn't sit in it, and he wouldn't swim, but he got into the pool and was splashing water, and for Landyn that is HUGE!

And please excuse the fishy underpants,

I wasn't going to argue that he should have swimming trunks on.

Forth of July 2010

Ahhh a Summer Holiday.

This year was a highly anticipated one.

I can just smell the charcoal burning, the breeze blowing, and a nice cold fruity alcoholic beverage in my hand... but... that doesn't always happen, and I guess I picture that every weekend in the summer. =-)

After all the busyness, time for a break. Relax and my favorite part of summer, watching the 4Th of July fireworks.

Susan was able to join us again this 4Th of July, and surprisingly Matt called Saturday night and said he was going to be able to be home on Sunday. Ya!

Family time at last. We made a HUGE picnic again, unfortunately we were unable to have our picnic outside, so we laid a blanket on the living room floor and ate our Ginormous meal.
We even watched a family movie together.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

Most of us passed out from full bellies and relaxed minds.
But it was still a great day!
Nice to just do nothing.

Then soon off to the Balsam Lake Fireworks. We did not go to Cumberland this year again. Its so hard to make absolute plans in our family due to Matt's Job, and well... kids. Although, my Mom said Cumberland's fireworks were the best ever! Figures!

We called our good friends Donny and Jenny, and we met them at their house to watch the fireworks. They have the best spot in town I thought.
This is Landyn frolicking in the grass before the fireworks started.
I'd say he looks pretty excited!
Me and Logyn
This is a goofy picture of me and the boys,
my camera gives off a bright red light right before the flash,
so every ones eyes always look goofy.
It kinda looks like we are having a good time.
Donny and Matt, drinkin, and talkin,
what they do best together.
And then add Susan to the mix.

oooooo, ahhhh...

So pretty...

Landyn got a little scared, just once when he heard a loud firecracker near by.

And Logyn enjoying the fireworks also, I think he was about to say WOW!

(sorry about my low cut shirt...)

It was a good 4Th of July this year. The boys had fun, and I think Susan had fun being home, it was nice to have Matt home for a day, and it was a little relaxing like I had hoped.

Hopefully we have many more happy summer nights.
