Our July 4th and the Foder Girks...

July 4th is our Favorite Holiday.

It's nice that Matt was able to spend Sunday and Monday home with us. So we had a very busy weekend planned.

Monday we decided to drive down to Rochester and Make Grandma Bonnie's 4th of July a little brighter with some cool presents, and some quality time.

Here we all are... ready to start our July 4th Family Day!!!

I know I know its corny, we are all wearing the same shirt, but I don't care. I am Mom and I am aloud.

After a long 3 hour drive we stopped at Pizza Hut in Rochester and enjoyed a July 4th Pizza fest.

Boys were happy...

The Foder Girks!!!

Saturday night we went to Balsam Lake Fireworks and they were not worth sitting through at all someone needs to fix who ever is lighting those off! Horrible.

I wanted the boys to have a good Firework experience, so after our long drive down to Rochester we decided at the last minute that we were driving to Cumberland our FAV> fireworks show Matt and I have been going since the very first summer we were together.

Next year, I think we will go back to ALL day at Cumberland Park like all the years before.

The best weekend...

Just can't get enough of 4th of July.

I had big plans for the weekend. The boys and I spent all day Saturday together, we went garage saleing, which was quite the adventure as I have never taken them with me alone to a garage sale. But they did very well. Landyn did have a couple problems.

The first one we get to he had to poop.

Go figure.

Good thing they had a blue out house.

Then when I went to pay for my stuff he had wondered back to the car without me and I heard the most horrible scream from him.

He slammed his fingers in the sliding van door.

That was fun... not.

He recoverd soon, and we were off to more sales, they had fun, we stopped by a Fireworks tent and I let them pick whatever they wanted. They were thrilled. But, of course not even realizing what they were picking out.

It was a nice day to spend with my boys.

Matt came home saturday night, and Sunday we planned a giant cookout with family.

I bought the boys a new pool a few days before, but as I was buying it, I had realized it was WAY too big to fit in the back of my van so I had it stashed beside the dumpster at work.

FINALLY Sunday we picked it up and brought it home.

The kids were so excited. The first time they have EVER been excited to play in a pool. Its been so hot, I would be too.

The family before we eat- except me- I am taking the picture- And I guess I am not sure where Logyn is.

The boys had a blast in the new pool

provided with a built in slide!!!

I am pretty sure that is what sold them.

After hours in the pool you work up an appitite!

Nakedness and all.

Where's my hot dog?Later in the day Keenan and Izzak joined us for food and fireworks.

Izzak had a blast throwing snappers at his Dad and making his feet snap!GigglesThe the fireworks start

Logie got scared and sat in the house and watched through the window, and pooped out after a day in the pool and a full belly.
Can't believe landyn played with fireworks!

The conclusion of MY story end like this...

mmmmm I love the weekend

Saturday we had a nice break from the day and went to the Milltown park. Aunt susan joined in the fun and the boys had fun spinning her around. They had fun playing at the park, and afterward we walked to the Milltown drive in and had a special treat.

She looks thrilled.

Round and round they go.

Son's of Summer

I love Summer!

Why can't we have more months of this wonderful weather?

Everyone is just always in a much better mood. I love the days where we can all just sit outside and enjoy the day. Cook on the grill, watch the kids play and enjoy the warmth of the sun.

It makes me sad to know that in just a couple of months, theses days start dwindling away.

Well I guess we better make the best of them!

Those melting Popsicle days...

Those playing in the dirt and mud days....

Riding your bike in the sun...

The sun shinning down on you... sitting in the shade...

Those good ol summer days...
