Updates

Here are some pictures to update the last couple of months, I have some from before Christmas and some from after Christmas. I have fallen a little behind, so hopefully this will fill everyone in on our sometimes chaotic lives.
Landyn, smiling for the camera.

Landyn and Izzak, playing with their Zu Zu pets.

Logyn and his cool truck.

"Peek a book"
in the words of Logie.

Chillin after their hair cuts.

These are the boys' Christmas cookies they helped Grandma Mary decorate. They were so proud of them and they had fun making a mess.

Look at Logyns mess of sprinkles on the counter... the floor looked like that too.

Logyn's face after he dipped the cookie and the sprinkles.
Priceless.

Landyn too.

This is my Mom and my 2 cousins, Dawson and Tanner. We all packed up for the day and went to their Hockey games in Cumberland. They are both great Hockey players. It was nice to see Mom's side of the family.

Ok the rest of these pictures are out of order, but I am too lazy today to sit and rearrange them all. So just deal.
They are still fun to look at.
Another fun day in December, we were invited to Olivia's Birthday party at the Unity Pool.
This I thought would be interesting because neither of the boys like to swim. Logyn really liked the water when he was smaller, but not so much now.
Landyn has never liked the water, not even getting into a small wading pool.

Logyn pooped out during the party, after playing in the water and with all the kids he was ready for bed.

This is my favorite picture of Logyn, looking out into the pool.

Logyn sitting in the pool with Dad.

Logyn laying on the floor.

Mom, come and play with us.

My little studs in their swimming suits.

The boys did pretty good at the pool, Landyn went in the water, in the kiddie pool, and rolled and splashed the whole time, it was great!
Finally we may get actually take a vacation some day to a water park.
Yay!

Great Job Fire Men!

Landyn has started learn about what to do in case of an emergency.
Matt and I have been discussing with him what to do when there is a fire, or if Mommy or Daddy get hurt.
Matt and I have had the debate on whether or not to drop our telephone Land Line.
It would save a little money, but my argument is what happens if a Babysitter needs to call us??? Or how would they call for help???
Well I think our debate has been settled.
This week while Matt was busy doing...something...
Landyn called 9-1-1, and proceeded to hang up!!!
9-1-1 called back.
Matt answered.
"Yes this is the Polk County Sheriffs Department, we received a 9-1-1 call."
Matt: "uhhhhh... Landyn, did you call 9-1-1"?
Landyn: "yeah".
Matt: "My son Landyn called 9-1-1, he is 5 years old and we just taught him how to dial for an emergency".
"Landyn, why did you call 9-1-1"?
Landyn: "Because I wanted to tell the Firemen that they are doing a Great job".
The 9-1-1 lady was then ok with him, and thought that Landyn was very sweet, but we only dial when there is an emergency, she told him...
Matt: "Whew, we are in the clear."
So now we are keeping the land line.
And Landyn thinks the Firemen are doing a great job.
