Birthday for Logie

Logyn is 3!

I can't believe this little tiny baby is 3!

On Logyn's Birthday we had a small birthday party at home with GG, Grandma Bonnie, and Grandma Mary. Daddy was working but we used speaker on the Cell phones so he could hear every thing that went on.

Logyn was pretty excited about getting Birthday cards with Dollars in them! And big brother Landyn had to help open some presents. We enjoyed a nice Icecream cake for the party. Logyn's favorite toy right now, Thomas the train and James. He is completely obsessed with his trains, he sleeps with them. I have to tuck them in at night and give them each a kiss.He gets right down in there.A boy and his trains.

This is the only picture that I have on the computer of Logyn's Birthday party. For some reason they loaded but I can't find them. I am able to view them on Snapfish and Shutterfly but not on the computer. So this is it. Logyn with his Birthday cake. It was a beautiful day and ALL the family came to celebrate and have a nice cookout at the Lions Park. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The kids had a blast and I think everyone had a great time.

I hope I see a princess!

Labor Day weekend we decided we needed to take a break from home and visit Aunt Susan for the weekend. We were all very excited. This was going to be the first time we would stay in a Hotel with the boys. That boys had no idea what they were in for.

Our first stop of course was the Big Brown McDonalds with the SLIDE!!!!

Then after lunch with Susan we went to the park.

Aunt Susan watching the boys play.

Landyn getting dizzy on the Merry Go Round.

Matt and I at the park.

Weeeeee.

Logyn checkin out the slides.

Daddy zippin' along.

After a long day of slidding, swimming, and walking we settled down at the Hotel while eating our home made hoggies. Here are the boys eating and watching cartoons. And Logyn crashes.

Landyn and daddy chillin'Cheese! You seen where Logyn was.

Our last day visiting Susan the boys wanted to go inside the Castle right out front of Susan's appartment (The Mable Tainter House). The boys called it a castle.

Landyn was so excited to go inside he wanted to try and find the princess that lives inside.

(he completely made that up himself).

Logyn and Susan in the Blue Room.

This is the auditorium its georgeous!!

It's so neat.

The boys walking up the marble steps.

View from the top of the auditorium.

This is an Art photo of the outside of the Mable Tainter House.

This is the Vault on the inside of the building. It was very interesting to me. The combination was in letters instead of numbers. But the doors have not changed much from our old vaults at the bank.

An old piano in the castle.

Logyn loves to hear the church bells in town. And when he learned that Susan lives next to the bell tower at stout and heard it for himself he was exstatic. All weekend long he would tell us that it was 7 a crotch! No matter how much we would correct him, he wouldn't say it right.
Look it's 7 o crotch!

The Kindergartener and his messy first week.

Landyn's Kindergarten Open House was the day before school started. Just to get to know where everything is and for us parents to know where our kids will be. It's a very nice program.

Here is Landyn at his cubbie.

And Landyn at his desk.

Here is my nephew Izzak at his desk.

Landyn and Izzak are in the same class together. They were pretty excited.

Landyn's Locker.

Here is Landyn blabbin' about how cool his locker is.

While I was talking with the Teacher and she was explaining things to Landyn I happened to look over at Logyn playing with all the toys.

I noticed he was pretty busy.

When I realized what he was doing I had to take pictures. Logyn was busy taking care of 3 babies. He was rushing around the little kitchen, had the table all set, and was feeding each baby dinner. One was in the playpen, one baby was in the rocking chair and another baby in the high chair. He was putting a plate infront of each babydoll and feeding each one, and talking to them. It just melted my heart. Logyn is going to be a great Dad one day.

He has learned from the best.

Landyn and Izzak trying to figure out how to make coffee.

Landyn's first day of Kindergarten.
He was one cool kid.

Landyn and Logyn waiting for the bus on Debbie's front step.

Mom and Landyn.

Here are all the kids that get picked up at Debbie's minus, some kids that were on the front step still. They were the bigger kids. To cool to wait in line.

Logyn had to wear his pack pack too!

I am ready Mom.

Here comes the bus!

He never even looked back.

Logyn watching the kids leave. Bye Bus.

Landyn's first day went well until it was time to come home. Landyn was placed on the wrong bus home, and I recieved a phone call from Debbie that Landyn did not get off the bus. Frantically we called numerous people at the school, not knowing if he got on the wrong bus, didn't get off the bus, got off the bus at home, no one knew! Debbie sent her sone Brady on his bike to our house in case Landyn got off the bus at home and there was no one there. I called the school and told the principle and talked to his teacher. I had contacted the bus garage a week before school to notify them that Landyn was going to Day Care until November at that is where he would be getting on and off the bus unit we notified them differently. The told me that everything would be taking care of .

Apparently not.

After an hour of people calling and trying to call the bus driver, whose phone was turned off. Being humiliated by a bus drivers wife, and the school principle driving around our house and block we finally found him on the wrong bus at the bus garage. They brought him to Debbie's and he was just fine.

I picured my emotional little red head a mess and he wasn't, he basically thought he was on a field trip and his bus ride was really long.

He asked Debbie if we missed him and asked if I was looking for him.

Landyn had a very memorous first day of kindergarten for me. I will never forget the day I thought he was missing for over an hour. And I will tell him that story over and over again until I die.

Exactly a week after his first day drama. I got a call from the school at work that Landyn had fallen off the monkey bars and cut his head open... and needed stitches....

And he did.

Only they don't give stitches they glue the wound... well this one they did. He was pretty upset, and will have a nice scar on his forehead.

We have a long 13 years ahead of us.
