testisles???

Well this month has been a busy one. We have plans for every weekend. Well, that's been nice! The boys are growing. Landyn is getting older and older everyday, Matt and I are floored by some of the things that come out of his mouth sometimes.
Logyn, we have been trying to talk instead of grunting for something he wants. Which I hear is normal for the second child to do so.
We finally got our cat neutered, which for some people wouldn't be such a wonderful event. But Landyn figured something was up right away. He was home with Matt after the cat came home from the vet and he noticed something "missing".
He asked Matt what those were, and where did they go... Matt told Landyn the truth and told him that they were testicles, Landyn only replied with an "Oh". "Do I have testisles too?" and then proceeded to look in his underwear. Priceless moment do you think?
This month I also got a new camera, which I am so excited about. My last camera took great pictures but the lens was screwed up and I couldn't get it clean so it took blurry pictures all the time, and the mega pics were super low compared the the new cameras. I have had it for about 5 years and decided I was done fighting with it.
These next pictures are just some randoms that I took of the boys being goofy. I was having fun trying to see what kind of pictures I could get.

Landyn and Logyn in the tub.

Look at those eyes,... can't do anything wrong in the world.

And a shot after the bath, what a hair do!

This kid loves to where hats now. I could't get him to put on sandles, hats, gloves, OR pants.
He is growing so fast.

Ahhh, Grandma Mary with her Home and Garden Boxes.

Look at those boys ready to dive in...

And they dove.

What fun it is to be a kid.

Finally!

Matt passed the written CDL test!!!

YAY!

Here is the very excited, happy man with his papers.

The future is at his feet...

Landyns Valentines

This was Landyn's first year learning how to celebrate Valentines Day at pre-school. The kids were supposed to bring a Kleenex box to school and the kids decorated them for their Valentines.

Landyn's was white, and all he wrote in it was his name. What a guy.

I bought him some Transformer Valentines cards and he wrote his name on 2 of them and then he decided he was finished. So mom had do to 18 more by herself.

Matt and I kept reminding Landyn that his Valentines Party was coming up, but I don't think that he realized what we were talking about... until the day of his party he came home with his Kleenex box filled with CANDY. He was grinning from ear to ear.

Here is Landyn with his Valentines box.

What a happy boy he was.

Luck Winter Carnival 2010

Ok before you read this post... I had some problems figuring how to change sizes and settings after I saved them.
I could not figure it out so some of the words next to the pictures are spaced out funny, so please read with caution.
It's that chilly time of year again.

And time to enjoy it... I think.

This past weekend we had the Winter Carnival in town.
Time for the Queen pageant, Alumni basketball tourney, sawdust pile, Lions Breakfast, Medallion Hunt, Hog Expo, Torchlight Parade, Butternut Fishing Contest, Bonfire, Chili Feed and the Most awesome Ice castle ever! (in Luck Wisconsin anyways).

Friday night I wanted to boys to see the Ice Castle all lit up, so we bundled them up and drove the 1/2 block there. They were so impressed. You could even go inside! It was lit up with beautiful blue and purple lights. The volunteers said it was the biggest one they have built so far.

This was Landyn inside the Ice Castle

This was the picture that I tried to take with my crappy camera, I couldn't get it to not be blurry. But it did help capture the glow of the lights.

ooh it's so pretty.

(Last year we had one too, but it was unusually warm and it melted a couple days before the winter carnival began.) We didn't spend too much time there because it was sooo cold. We were outside maybe 10 minutes and my fingers were froze stiff. So we decided to drive around town a little bit and spend some time together.
We didn't have too many plans this year, Matt plays in the Alumni Basketball tournament every year. It's usually fun to watch, because most of the guys have not touched a basketball since last years basketball tournament, and seemed to have gotten a little "fluffy" around the waist.

We ate breakfast first Saturday morning. The Luck Lions has a pancake breakfast with yummy strawberries, eggs, sausage, and bacon. Soooo good. The boys really enjoyed the pancakes.

After breakfast Matt got ready to play basketball, and I walked around the school with the boys, and visited with people from town.

The boys climbing the bleachers.

Landyn is at the perfect age where he will sit and watch his daddy play, but Logyn on the other hand wanted to run and climb bleachers so it wasn't all that fun for me this year, chasing him around the school. We ended up leaving right when Matt started to play. I was so tired. And it was getting around lunch time, so I new it would be nap time soon.

Landyn with his new girlfriend. Her name was Ava Peterson.

They were so cute. They sat together and pointed out who their parents were. It was too funny.

I only got one picture of Matt playing basket ball, and it's not that good. My camera has not been the greatest lately and I have been looking for a replacement.

Matt is in the gray shirt.

Saturday night is the beautiful, but cold, torchlight parade.

I had plans to meet some friends for a "Galentines" night together discussing what we dislike and like about our husbands, and then add a little alcohol into the mix and it gets a little crazy.

So Matt took the boys to Nate Kings house and they watched the parade through their front porch.

Peekin out the window at Nate's.

Hey! Look a Fire truck!

All in all it was a great weekend, we spend time together as a family, Matt got some exercise, and I spent some time with some great friends.

Who could ask for more?

A day at the Museum

Finally... we escape from captivity!
The LoRusso's took a family day to visit the Minnesota Science Museum in St. Paul.
It was a beautiful day and nice to get out of town.
Landyn was excited to see the Dinosaurs and Logyn.. well...he was just happy to go bye bye.

Look! Landyn is somewhat smiling!

Logyn looks lost.

Getting into mischief... that's what they do.

Dad on the Bike Generator.
Can you guess how long he peddled?

...not long

Mom and Landyn blowing a really big bubble.

Landyn and Dad in the Laser Light Show!
Ah, the Gravity Well.
Landyn was very intrigued by this, he giggled the entire time he watched the ball go round and round and round and round and round.
(I don't know why he is holding his pants.)And... there it goes.

~DINOSAURS!!!!~

See if you can open the jaws of the T- Rex.Come on Dad, you can do it!
Look at all the dead skeletons Mom...

I was excited about this robot.
Made all out of electrical transformer parts.
He would light up and move around.
I thought it was cool anyways.
Logyn got scared and I had to move him away from it.

This is what Landyn calls the Earth Ball.
You sit in a dark room and it would project how the earth was formed.
Pretty cool.

Landyn trying to lift the fish.
Can you help me Dad?

Look at them work as a team!

And Logyn... wondering why he's locked up like an animal.

This next picture was pretty funny.
We were walking around the Human Body exhibit, and Matt was checking things out when he randomly opened this little door up and it literally sneezed all over him. He thought it was gross and I thought it was hysterical.

After our long adventure at he Museum, Landyn was pooped.
He passed out in the truck right away.
If you look closely, you can see drool all over his face from him sleeping.

What a great day to spend as a family.

Studs

And so the tradition continues...

Daddy, and Landyn get their hair cuts together, and we have now added another munchkin into the mix.

Logyn had his first haircut recently! Oh we had to cut the curls off in the back! But they seem to be growing back now. I wish my hair would grow as fast as all of theirs.

Logyn with his long lochs before Aunt Kim cuts it all off, a little hard to see but his hair would get so snarly and messy, it was time to trim it up a bit.

He sat so good for Kim, just like he had done it 1000 times before.

Look how long it was!

And the finished result.

So nice.
He is growing so fast.

It comes right on the money, every 6 weeks they all look like they have mops that grow on their heads.

Look at those faces...

Here is the last haircut adventure to Kim's they all look so studly.
